Mira Hija explores female sexuality through two contrasting lenses: the societal gaze versus a woman’s own lived experience. The piece seeks to reclaim the narrative around female desire, agency, and vulnerability.
The typographic identity centres around Alt Maria Clara, a typeface by Alli Cunanan dedicated to strong, confident, and courageous Filipina women who challenge stereotypes and embrace their identity. The font’s bold yet graceful character echoes the spirit of the film — unapologetically feminine and powerful.
